The following topics were discussed at the meeting.
The following topics were discussed at the meeting.
- If anyone has a topic they need discussed at a council meeting they are to inform their unit's rep or one of the representatives of the chapter before the next council meeting.
- Helheim needed head volunteers of various jobs: Head of Battles, Head Herald, Head of Security, Head of night life, Head Weapons Check. The following people were elected for each of the above stated jobs:
- Head of Battles: Sir Gabriel
- Head Herald: Whisper, assisted by Shade
- Head of Security: Kodiak
- Head Weapons Check: Makavell assisted by Gorbag
- Head of Night Life: Karina
- Head of Battles: Sir Gabriel
- We need more volunteers, I've asked for people to willingly come forward but now each unit on this council needs to step up and give some volunteers. I would also like to note that I am making special tabards for anyone who volunteers, aka they get to keep it. It'll be black and gold and have the Helheim Invasion symbol hand embroidered on the front
- The emblem for Helheim Invasion has yet to be decided on, all suggestions are welcome at this time.
- Blood Fang Petitioners have been volunteered as volunteers
- If every unit can donate at least 3 petitioners we should have enough to smoothly run an event.
- To get a free tabard for volunteering you must volunteer ahead of time, I'll have a few extra tabards but to guarantee you'll get one i'll need notice in advance.
- The emblem for Helheim Invasion has yet to be decided on, all suggestions are welcome at this time.
- ESPN has officially agreed to do the story on Guilder, as I understand it there will be a photographer at helheim and then start filming at practices in late august.
- They should be attending three practices in August, we are unsure as of yet if they are going to just the Carrolton practice three times or if they are able to go to various practices.
- I would like to stress that garb should be worn during these practices, we want the game to look awesome and garb is a part of the game.
- They should be attending three practices in August, we are unsure as of yet if they are going to just the Carrolton practice three times or if they are able to go to various practices.
- Guilder budget is currently $220, I think we should do some fund raisers so we don’t have a shortage of funds. Current suggestions are car wash, selling tickets at a 4th of july cookout at the Carrolton practice, raffle off a shield, swords, some garb and tickets will be sold by unit leaders/unit representatives.
- Two glaives that Argyle made for Bifrost may be available for the raffle
- One or two items form each unit should give us a nice selection of garb and weapons. Each unit can donate more than just a few items.
- We would potentially like to charge by plate at the cookout, each plate would consist of a hot dog/hamburger, chips, a dessert.
- The raffle/cookout will be held July 17th at the Carrolton practice spot, you can still buy raffle tickets even if you aren't able to be there and we can get someone to bring it to you at a later date.
- Representatives/unit leaders who sell tickets must be able to get their raffle tickets/money earned to the cookout.
- Two glaives that Argyle made for Bifrost may be available for the raffle
- Monthly Carrolton practices have not been happening, we are required to have one event or one garbed practice once a month to qualify as a chapter.
- Next Big Carrolton practice, which is garb required, is June 19th
- The raffle/cookout will by July 17th
- Next Big Carrolton practice, which is garb required, is June 19th
- A local church in Crowley has asked Guilder to participate in a community fall festival, They’ve asked us to do a 15 minute performance on their 20’ by 20’ stage, I do believe they were also willing to let us set up a booth there. The one problem is that it’s the same day as the grimsword/southlands event third coast throwdown .
- October 1st is the date for both things
- The general consensus is that if you cannot go to Third Coast Throwdown you should try to go to the fall festival to represent Guilder.
- Anyone who knows they won't be able to make it to the event needs to speak up ASAP because Legion of Guilder needs all the help they can get. You can contact Shade (Joshua Resch on FB), myself (Brittany Blanchard Tremor on FB), or Gorbag(Jared Tremor on FB).
- October 1st is the date for both things
- There will be a feast at the event
- Little John's parents will be cooking food at the feast
- We currently don't know what exactly they need, hopefully we'll have more information by the next meeting
- Little John's parents will be cooking food at the feast
- Seller stalls at Helheim will be available, at this time all you need to do is inform myself ahead of time that you need a stall so I can guarantee that you can have one. The stalls are first come, first served.
- Non-coms have to pay an entrance fee if they plan on camping, this includes attending the feast and party
- Minimum garb will be enforced at Helheim, Whisper will write up garb guidelines for Helheim Invasion.
